References:
Abstract: An algorithm for solving optimization problems of chemical kinetics on the basis of Hooke and Jeeves, which uses a one-dimensional minimization along coordinate directions. The algorithm consists of two types of search – exploring search and pattern-matching search with restrictions. The one-dimensional optimization algorithm is based on the Brent’s algorithm. To calculate the objective function a system of stiff differential equations is solved with DIFSUB algorithm
Keywords: mathematical modeling, optimization, chemical kinetics, nonlinear programming, methods of retrieval.
