Analysis and Synthesis of Control Systems

Motions bifurcation of a loaded electrically damped pendulum (synchronization of electric machine with network)

D. Skubov

St Petersburg Polytechnic University
References:
Abstract: In this article questions of synchronization of an electric machine with power networksare investigated. Mathematical modelingis performed with numeric-analytical methods for asymptotically simplifiedequations ofsynchronous electrical machinedynamics. The possibility of more reliable (as compared to commonly recognized)synchronization with a network is proved, namely, in terms of bigger initial difference of frequencies ofturbo-generator rotor and the network.
Keywords: synchronous electrical machine, nonlinear dynamic, electromechanics, stability of periodic motions.
