Abstract: We prove propositionswhich reduce arithmetic operations on fuzzy numbers of LR-type to arithmetic operations on complex numbers and matrices. This simplifiescalculation (in particular, in computer computations) and allows for the intuitive graphical representation on fuzzy numbers on the plane of complex numbers (in the form of vector diagrams and hodographs).
Keywords: arithmetic, complex numbers, matrices, fuzzy numbers.
