Distributed full switch as ideal system area network for multiprocessor computers

Abstract:
We consider a way to build distributed full switches of arbitrary size consisting of fixed-size switches and channel splitters. The distributed switch preserves nonblocking and self-routing properties of a complete switch and forms an ideal system area network.
