Heat transfer in laminar flow of nonequilibrium-dissociating nitrogen dioxide in a circular pipe

Abstract:
The case of heating of the gas is investigated. The properties of the gas mixture are assumed to be constant. It is shown that the heat-transfer coefficient is signficantly higher than in the cold-flow case. It was also concluded that the influence and behavior of the number Nu along the pipe are strongly dependent on the pipe wall temperature and chemical reaction rate.
