A hyperbolic model of one-velocity multicomponent heat-conducting medium

Abstract: Equations of one-velocity heat-conducting heterogeneous medium with Fourier relaxation law of heat transfer are analyzed. It is demonstrated that the equations of the model are hyperbolic. Results are given of numerical experiments performed using the Courant-Isaacson-Riesz finite-difference scheme.
