Influence of Knudsen number on radiant heating of aerocolloidal flows

Abstract: An analysis is made of the heat transfer rates of gas at very high temperatures. It is shown that the most typical intercomponent heat-transfer regime in systems for the radiant heating of an aerocolloid (seeded gas) is heat transfer with a temperature jump. The influence of the Knudsen number on the intensity of the process and the dependence of the component temperatures on the heating time are analyzed.
