Experimental investigation of heat transfer from a vertical surface to carbon dioxide with natural convection in the supercritical region of the parameters of state

Abstract: An investigation was made of the distribution of the local heat-transfer coefficients at the external surface of vertical heated tubes. The dependence of the heat-transfer coefficients on the temperature heads was studied. The experimental data are correlated and calculating dependences are obtained for laminar and turbulent flow conditions in the boundary layer.
