Free-convection conditions near wires with supercritical pressures of $\rm CO_2$

Abstract: Special convective conditions of carbon dioxide pulsating supersonic flows are considered. The article gives the results of an experimental investigation of heat transfer and convective conditions near horizontal platinum and aluminum wires with a diameter of $0.3$ mm of different length in a large volume of carbon dioxide at supercritical pressures.
