Abstract: A method is outlined for heat-transfer and hydraulic-resistance calculations of a flow for variable thermophysical properties. Results are presented for the effect of viscosity variation on the motion of transformer oil. The effect of slight roughness with irregularities confined to the laminar and transitional layers is shown to be significant.
