Critical parameters of hexafluorides for elements of groups $\rm VI$, $\rm VII$, and $\rm VIII$

Abstract: The thermodynamic and molecular similarities of the hexafluorides of sulfur, molybdenum, tungsten, and uranium have been used in methods of calculating the critical parameters of the hexafluorides. Critical temperatures have been determined for nine compounds, critical densities for $12$ and critical pressures for nine. A detailed analysis is presented of the results for the critical quantities for the hexafluorides as obtained by other methods.
