Ionization in a dilute low-temperature plasma in presence of a solid-phase and alkali-metal component

Abstract: Ionization in a two-phase low-temperature plasma in the presence of an alkali-metal component is considered. Thermionic emission and surface ionization and recombination, in addition to volume ionization and recombination processes, are taken into account. Relations that determine the degree of ionization and mean charge of the solid particles are obtained.
