Abstract:
The composition of uranium hexafluoride was calculated with due regard to all the uranium fluoride dissociation processes and single ionization of uranium atoms. These data are used to calculate the thermodynamic functions and electrical conductivity of $\rm UF_6$. The region in which the electronegativity of fluorine has little effect on the conductivity is determined. Qualitative explanations of the variation of the thermodynamic quantities with temperature are given.
