Efficiency of thin-film thermometry in measuring the radiant flux density of pulsed lasers
Yu. A. Polyakov, V. I. Safronov Moscow
Abstract:
The basic idea behind measuring the IR radiant flux density from pulsed lasers by means of thin-film gages is discussed. The problems in experimentally determining their metrological characteristics are considered. The results of a comparison of the readout from thin-film sensors and a calorimeter are presented and indicate that they can be used for quantitative measurements of the flux density without preliminary photometric calibration.
