Abstract: We present a survey of a large amount of experimental data on the problem of jet-flame flow of combustible gases into a submerged space filled with air. We show that the defining similarity criteria are the Reynolds number and the scale factor calculated using the initial parameters of the outflowing fuel jet. Turbulent viscosity of the jet with and without combustion is calculated based on the results of measurement measuring the pulsation components of velocity.
