Abstract:
The article gives the results of an experimental investigation of the structural and hydrodynamic characteristics of the metallic fibrous wicks of heat pipes. Dependences of the coefficient of the permeability, the mean pore diameter, and the parameter of capillary pumping on the porosity are obtained.
