Methods of Experimental Investigation and Measurements

Interaction of a probe of the Pitot tube type with a two-phase flow of high moisture content

Abstract: Results are presented of a survey of the literature and of an experimental and theoretical investigation of the interaction of a probe of the Pitot tube type with a vapor droplet flow of high moisture content. An expression for the pressure in a two-phase flow is obtained on the basis of the momentum equation.
