Plasma Investigations
Conductivity of a weakly nonideal multicomponent alkaki-metal vapor plasma
A. G. Khrapak Institute for High Temperatures, USSR Academy of Sciences, Moscow
Abstract:
The composition of dense sodium and cesium vapors was calculated with due consideration of polyatomic ions. It is shown that in the vicinity of the saturation curve the formation of double and triple ions appreciably increases the degree of ionization of the plasma. The conductivity of sodium and cesium vapors is calculated and a comparison is made with experimental data.
