Abstract: The free energy of simple liquid metal in the approximation of the integral smallness of the electron–ion interaction has been found on the basis of the model of single-component plasma as the initial system. The result obtained holds at the equivalency of correlation functions determined within Gibbs canonical and large canonical distributions.
