The asymptotics of correlation functions and liquid–vapor phase transitions
G. A. Martynov Institute of Physical Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow
Abstract:
Power-law and exponential asymptotics of distribution functions have been analyzed based on the Ornstein–Zernike equation. The correlation length at the critical point is shown to remain finite and, therefore, the partition function has no singularity at this point.
