Abstract: Using the earlier proposed relations for the viscosity coefficient and internal energy of a thermodynamic system, a simple unified few-parameter equation for describing the viscosity coefficient of argon, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide in a wide range of the state parameters has been derived.
