Pool boiling of water heated by distributed internal heat sources

Abstract: The results of an experimental investigation of the boiling of water, heated by distributed internal heat sources are presented. It was established that the manner of boiling liquids depends upon the heating source power. With increase in power the pulsed boiling regime changes to a steady regime. The boiling layer formed acts as a regulator of vapor production.
