Abstract: The heat release of composite thermite mixtures of $\mathrm{Fe}_2\mathrm{O}_3/\mathrm{TiO}_2/\mathrm{Al}$ system is investigated using a BKS-3 calorimeter. The region of compositions is identified, in which one can smoothly adjust the level and rate of heat release.
