Abstract: Suction of plasma was used between electrodes of arc discharge to obtain pure plasma column, without electrode materials; at about $10,000^{\circ}$ K radiation spectrum from $0.2$ to $3$ U was analyzed for discharges in air, $\mathrm{N}_2$, and $\mathrm{CO}_2$; integrated radiated power was calculated; for discharge in air estimation was made of visible spectral region contribution to integral radiation power.
