Abstract:
The temperature dependences of the electric resistance and thermal diffusivity of nickel samples, containing from $0.004$ to $0.044$ at.$\%$ oxygen, were investigated. It was established that oxygen significantly affects the electronic structure of nickel at high temperatures. The results obtained are explained under the assumption that a local minimum appears in the density of states $n(E)$.
