Similarity of the radiation characteristics of heated jets

Abstract: The characteristics of the radiation field of self-similar jet-type flows are investigated theoretically and numerically. Equations are derived, relating the distributions of the radiance and the radiant intensity of the jet to the scales of the thermodynamic fields in the approximation of an optically thin radiating volume.
