Evaluating the stability of boiling regimes by means of the Lyapunov functional

Abstract: An analysis is made of the stability of boiling regimes on a heated horizontal cylinder. It is shown that the Lyapunov functional makes it possible to obtain analytic relations defining the boundaries of the region in which nucleate boiling is stable.
