Mathematical modeling of unsteady temperature fields in multilayered structures with allowance for ablation and the kinetics of thermal dissociation

Abstract: A method and a program are developedfor calculating unsteady temperature fields in multilayered shells made of composites with allowance for ablation and thermal decomposition. Calculations which are performed show that allowing for the pyrolysis of materials alters the character of the temperature fields in the structure, and this in turn influences the process of disintegration of the shell.
