Abstract: The impact compressibility and the presence dependence of the sound velocity are determined by a method based on manganese pressure sensors for artificial polycrystalline graphite in the region of the graphite–diamond phase transition. Numerical modeling of the experiment is undertaken. The pressure at which phase transition begins and the characteristic time of the process are calculated.
