Abstract: The main trends in the creation of Russia’s system of distributed power generation are considered. It is shown that, proceeding from the results of basic research on energy transformation under thermal impact on biomass, new state-of-the-art technologies of using local fuel and energy resources can be created for the purposes of distributed power generation.
