Abstract: A modification of the well-known semiempirical Cebeci–Smith turbulence model is proposed. The proposed modified model is based on analysis of experimental data on the distribution of heat fluxes on the surface of a hemisphere under turbulent and transition conditions of gas flow in the boundary layer.
