Investigation of the Limiting Enhancement of Heat Transfer in Tubes Due to the Artificial Turbulization of Flow

Abstract:
A model is proposed for the calculation of limiting Nusselt numbers and coefficients of resistance under conditions of enhancement of heat transfer in tubes due to the turbulization of flow. The model describes the respective processes for a wide range of values of the Reynolds and Prandtl numbers, which allows one to assess the possibilities of enhancement of heat transfer.
