Modification of the method of half-space moments as applied to the problem on the calculation of heat flux from a spherical particle at arbitrary Knudsen numbers

Abstract: A modification of the method of half-space moments as applied to the problem on the calculation of heat flux from a uniformly heated spherical particle in an arbitrary range of Knudsen numbers is suggested. The results of numerical calculations are presented in the form of an analytical expression. The accuracy of approximation is not less than $0.4\%$ in the entire range of particle size.
