Turbulent thermal in a humid atmosphere

Abstract: Numerical investigation of the processes of transport and condensation of steam during the rise of a large-scale thermal in compressible atmosphere is performed within a model describing the turbulent flow of a two-phase two-component mixture. The effect of the method of description of turbulence within the modified $k$$\varepsilon$ model is investigated.
