A multicomponent fluid system in the critical region in the presence of spatial confinement

A. N. Vasiliev

Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv
Abstract: A spatially confined multicomponent fluid system is treated, which is located in the immediate neighborhood of the critical state. Pair correlation functions of density fluctuations are found for this system, as well as the shifts of the critical parameters due to the finiteness of the system dimensions. It is demonstrated that the behavior of a multicomponent mixture in the vicinity of the critical state is largely isomorphic to the behavior of pure fluid.
