Abstract: The distributions of the velocities of air and solid particles in a pseudolaminar boundary layer developing on the surface of a cylinder with a hemispherical end face are experimentally investigated. The experiments reveal a significant rise of fluctuations of the particle velocity in the wall region of the boundary layer. Data are obtained on the decrease in the particle concentration in the vicinity of the model wall compared to its value in the external flow.
