Abstract:
Data from methodological development works that were intended for studying the thermal resistance and electric characteristics of the insulating layer of a multilayer metal–ceramic composite, which is
used to produce switching heat-transfer joints of a cylindrical module of a thermoelectric generator and the collector packages of electrogenerating channels of a thermionic generator, are presented. The experimental results are presented of studies performed at the minimum value of the insulating layer thickness $(0.2$ mm$)$ of a metal–ceramic composite in the following system: SB1 alloy $(\text{Nb} + 1\%$ $\text{Zr})$–$\text{Al}_2\text{O}_3$–SB1 alloy $(\text{Nb} + 1\%$ $\text{Zr})$, which is formed using the technique of plasma deposition of ceramics with subsequent gas-static pressing at high values of the inert gas temperature and pressure in an autoclave.
