Abstract:
The propagation of plane, cylindrical, and spherical waves in multifractional mixtures of gas with vapor, polydisperse liquid, and solid inclusions, taking into account phase transformations, is studied. Each polydisperse fraction has different thermophysical properties, a different range of inclusion sizes, and arbitrary inclusion size distribution functions. A unified dispersion relation is obtained for plane, cylindrical, and spherical waves. The effect of phase transformations on the evolution of a pressure pulse of a different geometry and different initial shape is analyzed.
