Abstract:
Nonlinear oscillations near the resonant frequency of an aerosol in a closed tube with a varying cross section are studied. The dependences of the range of medium pressure fluctuations on the Reynolds number are presented. It is found that at resonance, the decrease in the aerosol concentration in the tube over time occurs $12$ times faster than in the absence of oscillations. The results are compared with the experimental data for homogeneous tubes.
