Abstract:
The processes of reflection and refraction of a detonation wave at the interface between a bubble and a “pure” liquid in the case when the interface is at an angle to the front of the detonation wave are studied. It is shown that when this boundary is passed the detonation wave is reflected with a subsequent increase in amplitude due to the transition of the wave into an acoustically more rigid medium. The dependence of the maximum value of the pressure amplitude on the slope of the bubbly liquid–“pure” liquid boundary is revealed. The value of the slope corresponding to the maximum pressure is determined.
