Abstract:
The change in the ideal efficiency of reactors of the BN series with an increase in the thermal conductivity of the sodium melt is estimated. This study is carried out based on solving the heat conduction equation for a stationary mode, when the coolant pumping is not taken into account. The probability that an increase in the thermal conductivity of the coolant by $10\%$ will lead to an increase in efficiency by approximately $1\%$ is shown.
