Abstract: We simulated and experimentally studied the process of the interaction of a barrier discharge with natural gas in a plasma-chemical reactor with a coaxial electrode configuration. The obtained dependences of the hydrocarbon concentration on the average specific energy supplied to the discharge are linear. An explanation of the observed results is proposed.
