Thermophysical Properties of Materials

Dissociation energies of molecules of monoxides of alkali metals ion model

A. V. Gusarov, L. N. Gorokhov

Institute for High Temperatures, USSR Academy of Sciences, Moscow
Abstract: The ion model is used to calculate the dissociation energies of molecules of diatomic oxides of alkali metals. The results obtained in the investigation are used to calculate the vapor composition of the potassium–oxygen and cesium–oxygen systems at $1000$ and $1500$ K.
