Abstract:
The important part played by the structure of polymer melt in determining the temperature of intensive degradation is demonstrated. This characteristic depends on the chemical structure of polymer, expressed in terms of glass transition temperature, compactness of coiled macromolecule in the melt, and type of oxidizer diffusion. The latter factor is defined by the melt structure as well.
