$L$-nonformation, $L$-ancillarity, and $L$-sufficiency
O. E. Barndorff-Nielsen Institute of Mathematics, Aarhus University, Denmark
Abstract:
A concept "$L$-nonformation", of no information about a parameter of interest, is defined. It implies concepts of generalized ancillarity and sufficiency, termed $L$-ancillarity and $L$-sufficiency (the latter having been studied previously). Here $L$ stands for likelihood. Properties of these concepts are discussed.
Keywords:
$L$-nonformation, $L$-sufficiency, $L$-ancillarity, likelihood, parametrization, information.
