Abstract: Analogues of the isoperimetric Chernoff inequality for a negative binomial distribution are obtained.
Keywords: negative binomial distribution, Pascal distribution, moment inequalities, factorial-power binomials, polynomials orthogonal with respect to a negative binomial distribution (Pascal's).
