Context-Oriented Ontological Methods in Sociology

Abstract:
The article suggests the context-oriented ontological methods for describing social objects. The methods are based on the graph model of ontology. The model is based on the set of two-level trees, called branches, the vertices of which are pairs of concepts. The first concept of any pair is called term, the second is a context to this term. The rule of linking concepts that serve as contexts is proposed. Algorithms for constructing a graph of the contexts hierarchy as well as a terminological graph are developed. A criterion of logic verification based on the structure of the terminological graph for ontology is obtained. Features of the described model and its usability are exemplified.
