O. V. Tarakanov Academy of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation
Abstract:
The research purpose was to describe the conditions of formation of mathematical suitability of main ways to store binary large sequences (BLOB or BFILE) in ORACLE databases. The solution is obtained by restoring multiple linear regression equations taking into account significant conditions of use of these datatypes as BLOB and BFILE. Some practical recommendations are formulated to justify the selection of the datatype to store binary large sequences.
Keywords:
database; binary large sequence; binary large object; BLOB; BFILE; multiple linear regression equation.
