Abstract: This paper describes two main indoor positioning methods for mobile devices based on Wi-Fi trilateration and fingerprinting. Two indoor positioning approaches based on these methods and having different schemes of distance between transmitter and receiver calculation are considered. These approaches open a possibility of hybrid indoor positioning method implementation.
