An approach to medical and biological research automation based on the design of configurations
S. B. Roudnitsky, O. V. Zhvalevsky St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of RAS
Abstract:
This work describes one of the possible approaches to the automation of medical and biological research. The approach involves designing a configuration, i.e. a system of interlinked plans and scenarios. Examples are cited of real medical and biological investigations, each of them involving the design of its own configuration. As a result of generalizing the configurations in question, a set of basic components allowing direct software implementation is formed. The resulting configuration can be used as a standard in developing software and hardware systems for carrying out medical and biological research.
